Most people who are into weight training, and even those who are novices, when they meet me often ask right away about supplements.  While the traditional response is to say that supplements are just that, to “supplement” food intake (see here for food-related recommendations), I actually do use supplements along with my nutrition plan.  This is both for when I am preparing for a contest as well as during the “off season”.
